Farewell Chris & Andy
Today marks the end of an era as Chris and Andy say their goodbyes to Protocol and prepare for retirement!
Protocol was founded in 1991 with Chris and Andy occupying just one room in the Barking & Dagenham Chamber of Commerce offices. By 1995 they had expanded to 3 rooms, employing 3 additional staff and purchasing their first delivery vehicle. Over the years the company grew rapidly as Protocol moved into a 2,500 sq.' warehouse unit in Barking and secured National contracts for large brands including Coral Bookmakers, Coffee Republic and Anchor Care Homes.
In 2014 Protocol moved into their current location, an 18,000 sq.' warehouse and office unit in Hutton, Brentwood. During this time they secured further large projects including Liverpool Football Club, Holiday Inn and etc. Venues. ISO 9001 and Safe Contractor approved certifications were also attained.
Protocol are now acquired by Steeple Group Ltd and employ 28 staff members including an in-house delivery and installation team and area sales managers across the UK. Our new managing director Jo Gibson has been with Protocol since July 2019 and brings with her a wealth of corporate business experience. Jo is looking forward to continuing the success of Protocol with the aim of growing the business.
We will all be extremely sad to see Chris and Andy go but wish them the best of luck for the future. Their hard work has created a successful company that is a pleasure to work for.
